About The Black Martha Stewart

Known as The Black Martha Stewart, I am on a personal journey helping women all over to find their "Inner Martha" no matter what your race may be. "Martha" is your modern day woman based off Martha Stewart. Marthas are women who are stong, hardworking, and successful in everything she does. Throught out this journey your Martha will learn to wow people in any situtation whether its cooking dinner, hosting a party, crafting, being romantic with your partner, or pampering yourself.

I have been baking for over 15 years and it is truly a labor of love. A fiercely independent child, I insisted on making my own cakes rather than be a helper to my grandma. Since I couldn’t reach the table my grandma pulled down the dishwasher to create a lower workspace for her little baker. Though my grandma will confirm my first cakes were time consuming I continued baking and with some great family role models I learned the touch.

Many of the recipes you will find on this site are recipes passed down from my grandmas, great-grandma and mom. They never took shortcuts and taught me that with some hard work and a lot of love you can achieve your dreams and make some pretty delicious treats!

Though baking is my love, I have also found a nact for anything creative and crafty. I also make body scrubs, soaps, candles, etc.
